School managers can import hex card values using integration maps to perform mass updates to student and adult/teacher records.
1. Go to Admin > Definitions/Setup > Integration Maps.
2. Click New Map.
3. On the New Map screen:
•Select Import for the Job Type.
•Select Community as the Map Type.
•Click Create.
4. In the left pane, specify the Map Name, External Source, File Type, and Begin on Line.
5. Click Select files to open your Windows browser. Browse to and open your import file.
6. Click Add Field to add a line item.
7. Click in the Field column and select External Media ID Number from the drop-down list.
Note: The card value must match the student or adult/teacher ID.
8. Click Save.
After importing the file that includes the External Media ID field, when the file import runs successfully, you can review the integration job details on the Integration Details tab (Admin > Integration). Skipped External Media IDs can be viewed on the History tab.
