Settings for the Online Applications feature (determines eligibility) are managed on the Online Applications page (Admin > Definitions/Setup > Community > Eligibility > Online Applications).
The following settings are provided for managing Online Applications:
• Enable Online Applications Website: Check this checkbox to activate the Free & Reduced School Meals Application (Frapps) site. To turn off access to the site, uncheck the checkbox.
When you uncheck the Enable Online Applications Website checkbox, a Redirect URL field appears. Refer to the Online Applications Redirect URL help topic for more information.
• What Student Cases do you Support?: Check the checkbox next to the appropriate supported programs (SNAP, TANF, FDPIR).
Check the Numeric Only checkbox if case numbers must be numeric.
• Consent for Disclosure: Check this checkbox if you want parents and guardians to be prompted whether to share information with Medicaid or SCHIP.
• Review applications in Unmatched if student name exactly matches signer: When this checkbox is checked, an application will be sent to Unmatched Applications if a Student name and a Signer name match exactly. This option allows for verification if a student has the same name as a parent.
If a student is sent to Unmatched Applications because the Student name matches the Signer name, when that student is selected for matching, the following message will appear:
* Student and Signer names match exactly. After matching the student and processing the application, review and modification to the processed application may be required.
• Display Benefit Options: Check the checkbox next to the benefit options to display (Foster, Homeless, Migrant, Runaway).
• Hide District: Check this checkbox to hide the district.
• Custom Consents: There are 15 checkboxes with columns for Program Number, Active, Title of Consent, and Content of Consent. The following tooltips appear when you click the ? icon next to the column heading:
Active: Select a checkbox to enable a custom consent program.
Title of Consent: Consent title appears in reporting but is not shown on the FRO site.
Content of Consent: Text entered below should be written as an opt-in question. This will appear as a consent option on the FRO site.
To add a custom consent:
1. Click in the Title of Consent column and enter a description.
2. Click in the Content of Consent column and enter the content of the consent.
3. Click Save.
To remove a custom consent:
1. Uncheck the Active checkbox for the consent you are removing.
2. Highlight the text in the Title of Consent column and click [Delete].
3. Highlight the text in the Content of Consent column and click [Delete].
4. Click Save.
