Online Applications Redirect URL

Districts have the ability to change the FRO date from the default July 1 date that  automatically appears once rollover has begun. Changing the FRO date allows districts to control which date parents should return to the site to submit a new school year application.

If you want to remove the default July 1 date, when you are ready to close FRO, go to Admin > Definitions/Setup > Community > Eligibility > Online Applications.

Uncheck the Enable Online Applications Website checkbox. A Redirect URL field appears. Enter a redirect URL (for example, the URL to your district website where parents are notified when to return to submit an application for the new year).

The redirect URL will be used to display an onscreen message. For example:

This district is currently not accepting online applications. Please visit here for more information.

When parents click the here link, a message/date set up by your district will appear. For example: Return August 3.

If you uncheck the Enable Online Applications Website checkbox and leave the Redirect URL field blank, the online application message will default to July 1.

IMPORTANT: When your district is ready to enable the FRO site, go to Admin > Definitions/Setup > Community > Eligibility > Online Applications and check the Enable Online Applications Website checkbox.
