The following options are available in the POS section of the System Options screen:
•PINs Are Unique Across the District: Indicate whether PINs must be unique across the district. If you check this checkbox, duplicate PINs will not be allowed.
•Block A la Carte Charging: Check this checkbox to block a la carte charging.
•Allow Cash A la Carte Purchase Over Limit: Check this checkbox to allow cash a la carte purchases when patrons have exceeded their spending limit.
•Cash Drawer Compulsion: If using electronic cash drawers, check this checkbox to allow the cash drawers to pop open.
•Display ID/Display Pin: Admins can specify whether to display IDs or PINs on the POS Journal by selecting either Display ID or Display Pin. The PIN is displayed by default.
•Meals To-Go: Check this checkbox to enable the Meals To-Go feature. This feature provides cashiers with the ability to process multiple transactions across multiple days and serving periods on any machine for student meal pick-ups.
When you check this checkbox, the following options appear:
o Enable 5-Day Sales: This option supports sales from Monday through Friday.
o Enable 7-Day Sales: This option supports sales from Sunday through Saturday.
